Related Articles Free Drive-Through Rabies Clinic on 10/17 Town of New Windsor will be hosting a free, drive-through, rabies clinic, sponsored by Orange County Department of Health. The drive-through rabies clinic is open to Town of New Windsor residents. It will be held on October 17, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Kristi Babcock Memorial Park, 660 Mt. Airy Road, New Windsor, New York 12553. Pre-registration is required and mask-wearing and social distancing protocols will be observed. Town of New Windsor Town Clerk, Town of New Windsor’s Animal Control Officer and the Town of New Windsor Recreation Department will be on-site to coordinate paperwork and traffic flow. Participants will enter “one-way” and remain in their vehicle. The required paperwork will be provided for the veterinarian’s signature, the rabies vaccine will be administered and the tag and documentation returned to the participant. The leak repair scheduled for today has been completed and the water is back on. There is a boil water advisory in affect for Summit Drive (Ona Lane to Parkdale Drive) until further notice. Receiver of Taxes office open Saturday, January 25, 9am-12pm Town of New Windsor Receiver of Taxes, Susan Scheible announces her office will be open on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 9:00am to 12:00 noon for the convenience of those who can not get to the Town Hall during normal business hours, 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Receiver of Taxes Scheible will open her office for the purpose of collecting Utility Payments and 2020 County/Town Property Tax Payments. New Windsor Community Day has been Canceled Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of New Windsor has made the difficult decision to cancel New Windsor Community Day scheduled for August 22nd. The town is aware how many people look forward to this event, however with the amount of people that normally attend this event social distancing is not possible within the event grounds for visitors, vendors and employees.
