Town Hall and Recreation Closed on Friday, March 27

In an abundance of caution for our employees, our Town Hall and Recreation Department with be closed this Friday, March 27 for a deep cleaning and sanitization of all office space. Refuse and recycling will be picked up as normal. Modified hours of 10am-4pm will resume on Monday, March 30 with employees available via phone, email and on our website at newwindsor-ny.gov. For emergencies, contact the New Windsor Police Department at (845) 565-7000.

Due Date extended to May 4th for Water/ Sewer Bills

The due date for Water/ Sewer Utility Billing has been extended out a month, with the new due date being May 4th, 2020.

2/21: Boil Water Advisory lifted.

Due to a leak repair, water service will be interrupted on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 from approximately 9 AM to 4 PM in the following locations:

St Anne Dr (#'s 16, 18, 20, 21, 22, 23, 25, & 27 ONLY)

The repair is followed by a boil water advisory for this location.

Town Offices Closed 2/14 & 2/17 in Observance of Presidents Day

Town Offices will be closed on Friday, 2/14 & Monday, 2/17 in observance of Presidents Day Weekend. Refuse normally picked up on Friday will be picked up on Thursday, 2/13. Refuse normally picked up on Monday will be picked up on Tuesday, 2/18. 

Water from Catskill Aqueduct Reintroduced

As of today the Town has started to introduce water from the Catskill Aqueduct back into our water distribution system.

Feb 4th-Water service interruption for Summit Dr (from Ona Ln to Parkdale Dr)

Due to a leak repair, water service will be interrupted on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 from approximately 9 AM to 4 PM in the following locations:

Boil Water Advisory Due to Emergency Water Leak Repair: Burroughs Ln, Shelly Rd, Keats Dr, Byron Ln, Melville Dr, Stephenson Ln & Hemingway Ln

Due to a emergency water main leak repair, water will be turned off at approximately 4 PM on the following streets on Thursday, January 9th

Burroughs Lane, Shelly Road, Keats Drive, Byron Lane, Melville Drive, Stephenson Lane and Hemingway Lane

Town Offices Closure & Refuse Pickup Changes for Thanksgiving

Town offices will be closed 11/28 & 11/29 for Thanksgiving. Refuse normally picked up on Thursday will be picked up on Wednesday, 11/27. Refuse normally picked up on Friday will be picked up on Monday, 12/2.
