Clarino and Supervisor Stephen A. Bedetti are happy to announce evening and weekend hours for residents who need to conduct business at the Town Clerk’s office. Starting Thursday, March 7 the Town Clerk’s office will be open until 6pm each Thursday. Starting Saturday, March 9, the Clerk’s office will be open on the second Saturday of the month from 9am-12pm. For Saturday openings, dates will be posted on the Town Clerk’s webpage at newwindsor-ny.gov. Town Clerk Clarino stated: “Our residents lead busy lives and cannot always get to my office during normal hours for business that needs to be conducted in person. Many residents voiced a need for this when I was campaigning and I am proud to deliver on my promise.” Supervisor Bedetti stated: “We pride ourselves on being available for our residents. I am happy to see our Town Clerks office starting evening and weekend hours. It is important that we provide every resident the opportunity for these additional hours for those residents who cannot make it during our normal business hours.” Town Hall normal business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm. Receiver of Taxes office open Saturday, January 25, 9am-12pm Town of New Windsor Receiver of Taxes, Susan Scheible announces her office will be open on Saturday, January 25, 2020 from 9:00am to 12:00 noon for the convenience of those who can not get to the Town Hall during normal business hours, 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday. Receiver of Taxes Scheible will open her office for the purpose of collecting Utility Payments and 2020 County/Town Property Tax Payments. Town Hall Reopening to the public on Monday June 1st Effective Monday June 1st, 2020, the Town of New Windsor will begin the process of reopening our offices to the public. The town’s court officers will be screening temperatures of all visitors and face coverings or masks will be required. The safety of our employees and our visitors is of the utmost concern to Supervisor Meyers and the Town Board. We encourage anyone who can still conduct business via phone or email to continue to do so. Town Hall will be open to the public from 11am-3pm Monday through Friday.
