Famlies can purchase a banner to be displayed on main traffic corridors of the town to honor their loved ones who have served.

The Town prides itself on its outstanding services it provides to its residents and business owners. Our Police Department is top notch, our roads are maintained to high standards, and our Recreation Department provides a wealth of activities to all age groups.

Town Hall is open to the public Monday - Friday, from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. We encourage anyone who can still conduct business via phone or email to continue to do so. If you have any suggestions or problems relating to the town or services, please do not hesitate to contact the appropriate Town Department.

The National Temple Hill Assoc. in joint cooperation with the staff of the New Windsor Cantonment presents: “Your Excellency’s Dog kennel at Mount Vernon is as good a Quarter as that I am now in”, at the Historic Edmonston House, 1042 Route 94 New Windsor, New York. From 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm. Stop in and meet Saratoga victor and New Windsor Cantonment commander Major General Horatio Gates who has recently arrived at his new Headquarters (and he was not very happy to be assigned this house for the winter of 1782-83).

Please join us, Sunday November 18th, 2018 - 6:00PM - 8:00PM, to enjoy a wonderful 18th century dessert collation table-filled with delicious period correct sweetmeats, syllabubs, small cakes, and other tasty treats. You may toast the beginning of the holiday season with warm spiced cider or Fish House Punch. The Historic Edmonston House will be filled with candlelight and the fireplaces will be ablaze to welcome guests. Please reserve early, as we can only welcome a limited number of guests. You will need to reserve and pre-pay to attend, as we will not be selling tickets at the entrance during the evening of the event.
