Assessment Board of Review

If at any time a taxpayer has a complaint that cannot be resolved with the assessor, that person may appeal to the Assessment Board of Review.


 The Board is made up of an objective panel of citizens from the local community that meets only once per year on the fourth Tuesday in May for the sole purpose of reviewing assessment complaints. 

In order for your complaint to be reviewed by the Board, a formal grievance must be entered on a specific form which can be obtained in the Assessor's office.

 

IMPORTANT ASSESSMENT DATES

January 1st- Valuation Day

March 1st- Taxable Status Date; All exemptions must be filed with the Assessor's office.

May 1st- Tentative Assessment Roll completed

4th Tuesday in May- Grievance Day with Assessment Board of Review
